The bracelet has absolutely mesmerizing effect on anybody who is seeing it.
A long array of 15 graduated color changing lab Alexandrites
set into rose gold filigree links.
Alexandrites thought to bring luck, good fortune and love.
The gemstones are changing the color from deep amethyst like purple
under the sun light or daylight bulbs
to blue sapphire color under yellowish candle light, or incandescent bulb.
The gems are eye clear with some minuscule inclusions
visible with magnifying glass.
The central gemstone is 14 mm across, which estimates to 11.35 carat.
The smallest is 5 mm.
The bracelet is approximately 6 ½” long with hidden box push-in clasp
and safety chain.
The tongue of the clasp has 3 stamps which appear to be Arabic letters.
The gold tested 18K.
Total weight is 38.4 grams.
Excellent antique condition.
Lab alexandrites are grown in painstaking process of making
the gemstones created by Mother Nature.
They are chemically, physically and visually identical to
mined alexandrites, but have fewer flaws.
We think the bracelet was made in Egypt in 1940’s.
Starting in 1916 until 1940/1941 the hallmarks were made in Latin
and changed to Arabic afterwards.
