A beautiful Georgian 14K gold natural emerald diamond ring. The ring size is 8 3/4.
The ring features a bezel set 9 mm diameter (approx. 0.85 Carats) natural emerald cabochon in the center surrounded with a halo of 12 rose cut diamonds (approx. 3 mm each, total approx. 0.45 carats) mounted in traditional closed back crimped colette bezels. The face of the ring is 14.5 mm diameter. It is set on the top of the crown base making it raise 8 mm over a finger.
The split shoulders of the ring, in our opinion, represent a semi open lily flower bud. The bud is 5.5 mm wide. The back of the band is 2 mm wide.
The ring hallmarked 14 for 14K gold. There is another stamp which we were not able toidentify. Total weight is 4.5 grams.
Excellent antique condition commensurate with age. The emerald gemstone has natural inclusions (see images).
