Exquisite Scandinavian piece crafted by Norwegian jewelry maker Norsk Filigransfabrikk, this guilloche enamel sterling necklace dates back to C.1900.
The necklace features a design composed of a series of filigree links and drops on a sterling chain. They are embellished with guilloche enamel in a rich purple hue.
The centerpiece also displays a greyish pattern in the center that gives it a three-dimensional appearance. The central element measures 26 mm in width and 60 mm in length, including the filigree dangles. Additionally, there are 4 smaller links and two filigree links that are 26 mm long, along with drops measuring 17 mm and 7 mm, all adorned with round purple guilloche enamel accents.
The entire necklace has a length of 17 3/4 inches. It is finished with a spring ring clasp that is stamped with the word STERLING.
The central piece is also stamped with STERLING and features the Norsk Filigransfabrikk maker's mark, which depicts a rampant lion within a shield.
Total weight is 8.4 grams.
