Unparalleled Austro-Hungarian vermeil gold (over silver)
necklace. earrings, bracelet C.1900.

The set richly adorned with multiple high quality polished
natural undyed vivid orange red coral cabochons,
natural seed pearls and amethyst pastes.

The set is built with fine craftsmanship.
Both front and back are made of a few tears of elaborate lacy filigree
with granulation and whip lash ornament.
All stones are set in milgrained bezels with larger corals
surrounded with halo of wired seed pearls.
The largest oval corals are 10 mm X 8.5 mm.

The necklace is 16 1/2" long.
The central station is 2 1/2" wide 3 1/4" drop.
It consists of 2 necklace links and 3 articulated pendant links.
The largest pendant link is 36 mm long 25 mm wide.
The necklace closure is slide-in clasp.

The bracelet is 7 3/4" long.
It has 5 large links and 5 smaller links .
The largest link is 40 mm long 27 mm wide.
It follows design of the large link in the pendant of the necklace.
The closure is slide-in clasp.

The earrings have 4 articulated links.
They are 62 mm long with largest dangle 32 mm long 19 mm wide.
The closures are 14K gold studs with 14K butterfly nuts,
which are later additions.

The tongues of the bracelet and necklace clasps
stamped with a dog head with number 3 and letter P
which is Austro-Hungarian stamp for 800 silver issued in town of Pest.

The whole set weighs 90 grams.

Excellent antique condition.
We have never seen Austro-Hungarian piece
in such a condition with all the stones intact.
