Fine 9K gold lion's head with ruby eyes and diamonds C.1880.

Well detailed lion's head adorned with ruby cabochons eyes.
It is holding an old mine cut diamond in his mouth.
The lion's head in the center sits on a halo of 6 round disks
accented with bright cut set old mine cut diamonds.

4 oval links (2 on both sides of the central link) are also
accented with old mine cut diamonds. The rest of the links are plain.
Total of 16 oval links, 8 on each side of the head,
are connected with hinges.

The bracelet closes with push-in clasp
and secured with a safety chain with round bolt clasp.

The whole bracelet is 8 1/2" long.
The center is 31 mm across with lion head 15 mm X 14 mm;
the oval links graduate from 14 mm to 12 mm across.

The bracelet tested 9K gold. It is covered with beautiful antique patina.
Total weight is 19.7 grams.

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
