Verified Juliana D&E large Venus Flames brooch C. 1960's.

The focus of the brooch is shiny black Lucite cabochon 
in sparkling halo of round rhinestones 
shadowed by textured gold metal Venus Flames leaves.
The outer limits of the brooch adorned with dazzling navette rhinestones.
The brooch measures 2 11/16 inches in length, 2 1/4 inches in width, 
1 3/16 inches in depth.  
The black Lucite cabochon is approx. 1 1/2 X 1 1/8 inches.

The Juliana Jewelry Reference book by Anne Pittman 
highlights the metal accents of Venus Flames 
utilized by Delizza and Elster during this era 
in the chapter dedicated to Metal Accents.
