Stunning star sapphire hand carved 14K gold ring size 6 3/4 circa 1900.
The main attraction of the ring is natural star sapphire gemstone. It shows clearly 6-point star asterism with a spotlight. The cabochon is 9 mm diameter, approx. 1.8 CW.
The gemstone is bezel set into hand crafted deeply carved elaborate floral design ring's body. It tapers from 11.5 mm wide in front to 4 mm in the back.
The ring stamped 14K. Total weight is 7.1 grams.
Excellent antique condition commensurate with age. There is appropriate wear visible with high magnification.
