Italian 18K Gold Carved Lapis Lazuli Pan Satyr Pendant Cameo

Striking ancient Greek revival hand carved Pan Satyr mask
on lapis lazuli gemstone set in 18K gold C.1970.

The pan mask relief is hand crafted on solid piece of lapis lazuli.

The pendant full height including the bail is 1 1/8" (55 mm),
the oval cameo is 1 1/2" (38 mm) high 1 3/16" 30 mm) wide.

The back of the bail stamped 750 in hexagonal lozenge,
which is Italian hallmark for 18K gold.
Total weight is 16.3 grams.

Excellent estate condition.
