Well-crafted 14K rose gold rhombus locket pendant C. 1890.

The front lid hand engraving split in 2 parts:
The left has a monogram,
the right filled with elaborate scrolling floral patterns.
The back lid is plain with carved monogram dedication
and dated 9.17.12 for 9/17/1912.

The interiors have a bezel with celluloid cover.

The locket is 28 mm across 37 mm high including the jump ring.
We could not make out the hallmark on the bail.
The locket tested 14K gold.
The weight is 5.2 grams.

The locket snaps closed with a nice click.

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
