Rare Georgian 10K gold watch chain hook clasp for a necklace, circa 1820. 
The upper ring is fixed and does not rotate, 
i.e. there is no swivel.

The hook showcases an exquisite hand-carved foliage design.

The dimensions of the hook are 39 mm in length and 14 mm in width.
The inner diameter of the ring is 6.5 mm.

There are no hallmarks, acid tested 10K gold.
The total weight is 3.0 grams.

It is in very good antique condition, appropriate for its age.
