Rare museum quality 10K Gold fox tail tassel natural pearl Talle-D-Epargne enamel earrings and pendant brooch set C.1860.
The earrings are all movement with articulate dangles and fox tail tassels. The tops embellished with elaborate hand carved foliage patterns and natural pearls. The dangles also have Talle-d-Epargne enamel and yellow gold filigree. The earrings are 2 1/2" (64 mm) long with ear wire, The top parts are 21 X 16 mm, the dangles are 28 X 14 mm including the tassels. The clasps are hooks with C clasps.
Matching pendant brooch is 2 3/4" (69 mm) long The top is 33 X 27 mm. The bottom is 48 X 20 mm including the tassels. There is a loop for a necklace on the back as well as a typical Victorian C clasp with a tubular hinge.
There are no hallmarks, tested 10K gold. Total weight is 18.5 grams.
The set comes with original box. We will ship it a nice contemporary velvet jewelry box.
All original. The set is in excellent antique condition commensurate with age. The Talle-d-Epargne enamel has some missing traces.
