Gorgeous Victorian 15K gold bangle bracelet with bird medallion C.1860.

The medallion has hand carved multi-color bird
hovering over twigs and grass.
Victorian jewelry often carried meaning in its design.
Birds represented piece, hope, love,
and guidance and safe return home.

The bracelet has a tubular design
with the medallion held by wrought bars.
The front is 43 mm along the bracelet,
the medallion is 21 mm diameter.
The bracelet oval opening is 2 1/4" long diameter,
or approx. 6 1/4" inner circumference.
The tube is 4 mm across.

There are no hallmarks, tested 15K gold.
Total weight is 12.6 grams.

The slide -in clasp functions well
and closes with nice click.

Very good antique condition commensurate with age.
