Large Swiss guilloche enamel gold over sterling silver portrait of young lady pendant C.1900.
This pendant is standing out among other enamel portraits by its precise details. vivid colors, and just by its sheer size. The lady with golden hair and blushed cheeks wrapped in green shawl. She is situated against red curtains crafted in guilloche enamel technique. The frame is also remarkable with its dimensional floral design with whiplash ornaments.
The back of the pendant is hallmarked 900 and MM. There are also hand carved in block letters a word GENÊVE and a date 1922. It is possibly in commemoration of visit to Genève. The jump ring is also stamped 900.
The pendant is 43 mm tall, 37 mm diameter. It weighs 17 grams.
Excellent antique condition.
