Exquisite Georgian era 18K Gold grisaille enamel porcelain 
pearl pendant C.1790.

The brooch features a pastoral scene in sepia
with a girl holding a basket, a dog, and flock of sheep. 
A river, a castle, and pink skies are on the background.
The miniature is hand painted in grisaille enamel on porcelain.
It is set in solid bezel with natural pearl halves halo.

The miniature is backed with mother of pearl sheathing.

The pendant measures 35 X 27 mm,
not including the oval ring, which is 8 X 5.5 mm inside.

There are no hallmarks, tested 18K gold.
Total weight is 8.3 grams.

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
