Antique Norwegian guilloché enamel necklace Handmade in sterling silver, c.1915–1930.
This elegant festoon necklace is composed of filigree links and drops on a sterling chain, embellished with luminous lavender guilloché enamel.
The central element displays a shimmering engine-turned pattern beneath the enamel, giving it a refined three-dimensional effect.
The centerpiece measures 26 mm in width and 60 mm in length including the dangles. Two 26 mm long filigree sections and 4 smaller links set with 17 mm and 7 mm dangles with round enamel droplets hanging on bars, adding graceful movement to the necklace.
Total necklace length is 17 3/4 inches, fitted with an original spring ring clasp stamped STERLING.
The central plaque is also marked STERLING and bears the Norwegian hallmark: a rampant lion within a shield, indicating silver of 925 fineness.
Total weight: 8.4 grams.
Excellent antique condition, with rich original patina and only minor wear expected with age.
