This is a stunning Victorian bracelet designed as a coiled snake wrapping 5 times around the wrist.
Intricately chased snake’s head has diamond paste eyes. The body is polished and tapers to the tail.
The inner diameter is 2 1/4”, it is good for small wrist, up to size 6 1/4. It cannot be stretched to larger size. To wear the bracelet it needs to be twisted on the wrist starting with tail (see attached picture).
There is no hallmarks, tested sterling silver, weight is 51.6 grams.
