Rare iconic red Bakelite cherry celluloid chain necklace.
Such necklaces were a popular fashion accessory during the 1930s.

The main attraction of the necklace 
are red Bakelite cherries and green celluloid leaves
hung on red celluloid chain.

The necklace is 16 1/2" long, the chain is 11 mm wide.
The cherries are approx. 22 mm.
The leaves are approx. 24 X 13 mm
The dangles with cherries are approx. 2" long

The necklace closure is old style (no pin for thumb)
brass bolt clasp.

Very good antique condition commensurate with age.
Theer are a few chips on the green layer on the stems.
