Gorgeous Georgian 14K gold amethyst pearl ring size 7 1/2.
The ring designed around the nice color amethyst surrounded with halo of natural purls. The amethyst is 15 mm X 12 mm, it is foil backed and set in crimp collet bezel, characteristic for Georgian era. The ring face is 22 mm X 19 mm. The back of the ring is covered with solid gold dome.
Neatly crafted band is 2 mm wide.
There are no hallmarks. The ring was acid tested 14K gold throughout except of the amethyst mount to avoid damage. Total weight is 5.5 grams.
Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
