Gorgeous and rare early 1900's 14K gold, amethyst,
diamond, pearl and Taille D' Epargne enamel
Rose of Shannon earrings and necklace set.

Rose of Sharon symbolizes its maturation and saintly nature.
It also symbolizes how the power of a mother transcends
both the biological and familial sphere to be able to restore and save

The pendant pin is standing out with its meticulously crafted
multiple jewelry techniques.
The deep purple faceted amethyst berries
a hand carved gold Rose Of Shennon inlay
with rose cut diamond accents.
The amethyst is 20 mm X 15 mm.
It is set in crawn prongs on the chased background
outlined with Taille D' Epargne enamel
and filigree ornaments.
The pendant is 40 mm X 29 mm.
The back of the pendant has a secure C clasp stamped 14K.
The 3 mm thick gold filled chain
makes the necklace 16 1/2" around neck
with old style bolt clasp (no pin for thumb).

Matching hinged dangle earrings are 38 mm X 20 mm.
I believe original screw backs were replaced
with posts as more secure closure.

The earrings and the pendant tested 14K gold.
The chain is gold filled.
Total weight excluding the chain is approx. 28 grams.

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
