Rare Victorian 14K gold longuard lorgnette chain with natural turquoise stations C.1890.

This chain stands out among antique longuard chains
with its turquoise cabochon stations.
9 vivid color oval natural turquoise cabochons are set in open back bezels 11 mm X 8 .5 mm.

The whole chain is 51 1/2" long and can be wrapped twice around neck.
It is 1.5 mm thick.

The dog clip clasp is 15 mm X 5 mm.

There are no hallmarks, tested 14K gold.
Total weight is 14.4 grams.

Excellent antique condition.
