Beautiful Austro-Hungarian necklace
dating to the late 19th century.

Measuring 16 1/2 inches long,
it is crafted in silver and set with
natural amethysts and seed pearls.

The graduated front features nine
oval faceted amethysts, measuring
from approximately 11 × 9 mm
to 6.5 × 4.5 mm, each held
in a raised prong setting.

The settings are connected by
ornamental links decorated with
stylized foliate details and
suspended seed pearls.

A scrolling terminal beneath
the largest stone creates
an elegant focal point.

The center station measures
25 × 9.5 mm.

The patterned link chain fastens
with a spring-ring clasp.

Tested silver.
Total weight is 9.9 grams.
