An unusual antique Georgian
sterling locket pendant,
covered in green shagreen
(stingray skin).

The reverse has an oval compartment
beneath beveled crystal for a treasured
photograph or keepsake.

The locket measures 50 × 39 mm
and is approximately 13 mm thick.
Total height, including the pivoting bail,
is 2⅜ inches.

There are no hallmarks, tested sterling silver.
Total weight is 16.4 grams

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
Silver retains a beautiful antique patina.
