Unique collectable equestrian horse-riding GF and mother of pearl
fob pendant necklace C.1880.
The MOP fobs show beautiful color play under changing light.
The necklace is 18 1/2" long.

The necklace features 5 horse riding fobs
suspended on fancy bar link chain.

-hand carved horseshoe fob
has a horseshow shape plain monogram cartouche in the center.
The fob measures 20 mm X 17 mm.
The whole drop is 48 mm.

- masterfully carved MOP horse head in bridle fob,
37 mm X 22 mm. The whole drop is 60 mm.

-MOP and GF jockey cap crested with a 6-point star.
The fob is 25 mm X 17 mm. The drop is 52 mm.

-large hand carved MOP horseshoe fob, 40 mm X 30 mm.
The whole drop is 65 mm.

-Hand carved and filigree MOP and GF whip 50 mm X 9 mm.
The whole drop is 40 mm.

The chain necklace is made of fancy bar links,
making a cross in cross section.
The center lines of the links are textured.
The links are 23 mm long 5 mm wide.

The closures are large bolt clasp and dog clip clasp.
The former is of old style with no pin for a thumb.
It is 17 mm diameter.
The large dog clip clasp is 25 mm X 7 mm.

There are no hallmarks.
Total weight is 62.6 grams.

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
