Rare authentic enamel sterling snake suite by iconic Mexican designer Margot de Taxco (Margot Van Voorhies Carr).
Fabulous highly sought after jewelry suite of necklace, bracelet, and earrings C.1950, design number 5554.
The suite features Margot’s signature enamel artistry with articulated links and bold serpent heads.
The necklace is 15 1/2 inches long with links varying from 14 mm to 10 mm wide, 33 × 20 mm snake head, and 65 mm tail. A hidden slide clasp secures the piece.
The bracelet measures 7 inches long with links from 14 mm to 10 mm wide, The head 34 X 20 mm and the tail 55 mm measured across tip to tip.
The screw back dangle earrings are 52 mm long with snake heads 34 x 21 mm.
The hallmarks can be found on all pieces: MARGOT DE TAXCO 5554 MADE IN MEXICO STERLING Eagle 16 mark.
Total weight is 175 grams.
