Rare Georgian 10K gold double chain watch chain necklace C.1820.

The necklace is 14 1/4” long and features
    • elaborate 34 mm end with fist hand and old dog clip clasp.
      Well rendered hand holding a 12.5 mm wide stirrup like swivel 
      with swiveled old dog clip clasp 8 mm wide.
      The latch of the clasp turns open on the hinge
      and locks close with the knurled threaded nut.
    • double chain 11 3/4” long.
      It is made of double links approx. 2 mm wide.
    • sculptural end 14 X 7.5 mm 
    • 11.5 mm diameter split ring 
    • 33.5 X 13 mm long hook.
    
There are no hallmarks.  
All the parts of the necklace tested 10K gold
except the bail of the hook which tests sterling.

Total weight is 16.4 grams.

Very good antique condition.
A few double links are missing.
