Splendid Austro-Hungarian natural grey star sapphire, seed pearl silver bracelet C.1870. It is 6 1/2" long.
There are total of 4 large elaborate multi-tier links. They have 11 mm X 9 mm bezel set natural grey star sapphire cabochons surrounded with natural seed pearl and blue pastes halo. The central link farther expands with complex network of filigree, granulation and seed pearls. It measures 39 mm X 25 mm. The smaller links with star sapphires are 20 mm X 17 mm. The last link designed as a hidden push-in clasp.
The smaller links are 13 mm X 13 mm. They have 4 mm pearls in the center.
The tongue of the clasp hallmarked with 3 stamps: Dog head with number 3 stands for Austro-Hungarian Empire 800 silver (1866-1872 standard), letter B for town of Linz, KT is a silversmith stamp.
Total weight is 34 grams.
Excellent antique condition commensurate with age. Silver covered with beautiful antique patina.
