A very Art Nouveau Egyptian revival platinum, 14K gold ring with old mine cut diamond on black onyx background.
Hand carved oval platinum face of the ring designed with sparkling old mine cut diamond in the center on kidney shaped black onyx background. The diamond is set in bezel with engraved laurel wreath. The long equator tips of the face designed as Egyptian revival papyrus flower. The face measures 23 mm X 11 mm.
The focal point of the ring is the old mine cut diamond approx. 3.7 mm diameter, which is approx. 0.25 CT. The clarity is VS1/VS2, color D-E.
The ring size is 7.
Weight is 6.1 grams.
There are no hallmarks, tested 14K gold and platinum.
Excellent antique condition commensurate with age. There is a hardly visible thin scratch on onyx.
