Gorgeous Art Nouveau Swiss guilloche enamel
with pearl crescent and star sterling locket pendant C.1900.

The locket with red guilloche enamel on the front and rear
shows excellent craftsmanship of the Art Nouveau period

The front of the locket adorned with crescent and star
made of bead and bright cut set natural pearls.
The back of the locket has a 20 mm diameter
bezel set celluloid window.
The whole locket is 38 mm high 30 mm diameter.
It opens up by unscrewing the bail top.

The locket tested sterling.
It is stamped inside SWISS, number 3005
and a maker's mark.
Total weight is 9.2 grams.

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
There are no chips on enamel which is very rare
for this old enamel locket.
Silver covered with beautiful antique patina.

The crescent moon represents the goddess of the moon,
the star represents our love being guarded by the moon goddess;
crescent moon and star mean protection of love.
