Rare Georgian 10K gold double chain 
watch chain necklace with fist hand end C.1820. 

The necklace is 14 3/4” long and features
• elaborate 38 mm end with fist hand and old Georgian clasp.
Well rendered 17 X 6 mm hand is holding a stirrup like swivel
with old clasp, 8.5 mm wide, having its own swivel.
The latch of the clasp turns open on the hinge
and locks close with the knurled threaded nut.

• double chain with links approx. 1.5 mm wide.

• decorative slide 17 X 13 mm.
It has raised grape and leaf motif.

• 10 mm diameter bolt ring clasp.

There are no hallmarks.
The necklace tested 10K gold.

Total weight is 15 grams.

Very good condition commensurate with age.
