Very rare and extremely long art Deco revival flapper necklace.
This necklace was designed by Peter Raines during his reign
as a head designer for Miriam Haskell
between 1968 and 1970.
The necklace is comprised of heavy textured brass chain
with intermittent groups of wired twisted royal blue art glass beads
and wired oblong grooved and textured brass beads.
The glass beads are 9/16” X 3/8”, the brass beads are 5/8” X 3/8”.
The chain is 5/16” thick.
The whole necklace is 71” long.
It can be worn as a very long single strand flapper,
or wrapped twice or triple around neck.
The necklace completed with brass spring ring clasp.
The brass hang tag is stamped MIRIAM HASKELL with reversed indented stamp.
Brass covered with beautiful antique patina.
Excellent vintage condition.
