Highly collectible Coro Duette frog
vermeil brooch fur clip C.1940.

The brooch is an easily recognizable by jewelry collectors book piece.
It is fully intact with 2 fur clips mounted on the frame
and can be easily converted to 2 fur clips.

Each frog has a large 19 mm 14 mm
faceted glass stone in the center,
one is yellow the other purple.
They are bezel set into frog's gold plated sterling body
embellished with sparkling rhinestones
and yellow eyes.
The legs are accented with green enamel.

The frogs can be released from the frame
making up two fur clips 49 mm X 24 mm.

The size of the assembled brooch is 1 7/8" X 1 7/8".
Total weight is 31.6 grams.

The frogs are hallmarked
Coro in script on the hind legs
and STERLING on the clips and the front legs.
