The main attraction of the necklace is fine carved Netsuke figurine pendant measuring 2 1/8" high 1 7/8" wide. It depicts a woman carrying a vessel and a millstone counterweight on a milkmaid's yoke. The figurine skillfully embellished with fine polychrome crosshatching with flowers. The necklace is 21 1/2 inches long and terminated with nicely fluted barrel clasp 30 X 12 mm. The variety of beads include: • round beads 11.5 and 10 mm diameter • fancy beads 31 X 16; 34 X 12: 23 X 15; 26 X 20 mm • jasper beads from 20 mm to 12 mm • gear wheel beads 14.5 mm diameter 7 mm thick • pineapple beads 20 X 12.5 mm
