A graceful Continental Art Nouveau sterling silver brooch circa 1900.
The brooch centers on an enameled iris with purple petals and green leaves. Sparkling paste stones follow the sweeping silver curves, with a baroque freshwater pearl suspended below.
The brooch measures approximately 1 3/16" (31 mm) wide, 1 7/16" (37 mm) high, including the pearl. The closure is C clasp.
The brooch tamped 935. Total weight is 5.5 grams.
Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
