Intricately crafted sterling Art Nouveau cherub belt conversion
necklace by famous William B. Kerr C.1900.
The necklace's primary feature consists of
three intricately designed front sections,
originally part of a sterling belt by William B. Kerr.
At the center lies a three-dimensional openwork depiction
of a cherub's head, elegantly encircled by a detailed floral wreath.
The section is also accented with 5.5 mm
deep purple bezel set amethyst gemstone.
The centerpiece measures 46 mm in width and 42 mm in height.
Flanking the centerpiece, the two side sections extend the floral motif,
each adorned with a bow at the outer edges.
These side sections are 56 mm in length and 17 mm in width.
The entire necklace measures 17 inches in circumference,
finished with a chic 3.5 mm chain.
The centerpiece stamped STERLING,
number 8 and William Kerr's logo.
The spring ring clasp is also stamped STERLING.
Total weight is 28 grams.
Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
Silver covered with beautiful antique patina.
