Presented is a mesmerizing
Austrian gilt silver filigree enamel cross pendant
dating to circa 1900.

This exceptionally large statement cross
is crafted in gilt silver and lavishly decorated
with glossy white enamel scrolls,
citrine-colored and amethyst-colored pastes,
and pearls set throughout
the intricate filigree body.

The emerald-cut centerpiece
is surrounded by oval and round pastes,
while the articulated top,
an integral part of the cross's design,
allows the pendant
to move gracefully in use.

The cross pendant may be worn
on either a chain or a ribbon.

125 mm (4 7/8") high,
72 mm (2 3/4") wide.

Very good antique condition
commensurate with age.
There are a few small chips
to the enamel
and minor fleabite chips
