Rare, highly sought after Georgian 10K gold fancy chain necklace
with leaf motif ends and old-style dog clip clasp with swivel.

The whole necklace is 15 inches long.
The chain is just under 3 mm wide.
The shorted section of the chain is more of yellow hue.

Sophisticated and very flexible fancy chain
terminated with ornate hand made
chased and carved leaf motif ends.
The ends are 14 mm long 6 mm across.

The large old style dog clip clasp
features beautifully hand carved latch.
It is 21 mm (13/16") long, 7 mm (5/16") wide.
The clasp has its own spin swivel.
The latch turns open on the hinge
and locks close with the knurled threaded nut.

The other end of the chain has a large bolt clasp 8 mm diameter.

The bolt clasp hallmarked 10K,
the rest of the necklace tested 10K gold.
Total weight is 12.2 grams.

Excellent antique condition.
