Rare Victorian 14K gold tassel dangles earrings with Talle D'Epargne enamel C.1890.
The tassels add great movement to the earrings.
Each of the earring features fourteen approx. 31 mm long fox tail chains with pellets on the ends. The chains are covered with beautiful antique patina. They are suspended under the caps adorned with Talle D'Epargne enamel and chased patterns. The earrings are 2 1/4" long. The dangles are 1 3/4" long with cap 5/16" (8 mm) across.
The closure is long shepherd hook.
There are no hallmarks, all parts tested 14K gold. Total weight is 9 grams.
Very good antique condition. 3 pellets are missing on one earring, 1 on the other.
