Beautifully crafted Mid-Century 14K gold ring,
set with a natural purple star sapphire and
four sparkling diamonds. 
The piece dates to the 1950s
and bears the maker’s mark “UMP.”

The design features a flowing split-shoulder motif,
with a central oval cabochon sapphire showing a
distinct six-ray asterism. Two old mine-cut diamonds
on each side highlight the gem’s soft violet glow.

Purple star sapphire: approx. 9 mm × 6.4 mm x 6 mm (≈ 3.5 CW)
Diamonds: VS1–VS2 clarity, E–F color, ≈ 0.5 CTW total
