High quality untreated translucent jadeite jade 10K white gold brooch C.1920.

The natural deep green translucent jade plaque hand carved and pierced
with amazing intricate foliage pattern.
It rests on the custom-made white gold panel
repeating the jade plaque’s shape and openings.
The panel supports the thin plaque
albeit preventing light passing through jade.
This makes jade look darker than it is.

The closure is a trombone clasp.

The brooch is 46 mm long, 25 mm wide.

There is a maker’s stamp H.K.
Gold is tested 10K.
Total weight is 10.1 grams.

Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
